The Minnesota Twins are desperate to add another arm to their rotation on the heels of a shambolic series showing against the New York Yankees which concluded just a few days ago. And what better name to reportedly target than the one that virtually every club in the market for a pitcher is allegedly after?
Per MLB insider Jon Morosi, the Twins have inquired about Rangers ace Mike Minor, though it doesn't sound like talks have advanced very far at all at this stage.
It's no surprise that so many clubs are chasing Minor's services. There's no doubting the southpaw has had an up-and-down career, but the fact of the matter is that he's had a lights-out 2019 campaign thus far, compiling a 3.00 ERA and 136 strikeouts across 135.1 innings.
