The Minnesota Twins are serious about their interest in Yu Darvish. They’re so serious that they made a formal contract offer to the pitcher, according to a report. Darren Wolfson of ESPN 1500 in the Twin Cities reported in a podcast published on Wednesday that the Twins made a formal, multi-year contract offer to Darvish. He believes the offers was in the four-to-five year range and says he thinks they would be reluctant to go to six years for the 31-year-old pitcher. Wolfson also was told the Twins have been as aggressive as any team for Darvish.
