Justin Morneau was the Minnesota Twins' regular first baseman since 2005 but he's gone traded to Pittsburgh 12 days ago. So who will play first base for the Twins next season? "I don't know that" general manager Terry Ryan said Monday. "We're still looking at it seeing how we're going to respond seeing how our guys do." In his first eight games for the Pirates Morneau was 6 for 27 (.222) with one extra-base hit a double while the team went 3-5. There is a chance that Morneau 32 could re-sign with the Twins as a free agent in the offseason. Entering Tuesday night's game against Oakland the Twins still had not been eliminated from the division race. The next Twins loss or Detroit victory would do it though.
Twins not sure who will fill Morneau's spot
