The improving health of Troy Tulowitzki and Michael Cuddyer has eased the Rockies' concerns about their availability for Friday's opening night in Houston. Tulowitzki will take batting practice today, swinging a bat for the first time since Cleveland right-hander Ubaldo Jimenez plunked the shortstop with a fastball on his left elbow. Jimenez was suspended for five games and fined Monday, a disciplinary measure he's appealing. Tulowitzki's injury has improved significantly through ice and massage treatment. "Each day I am able to do it a little more. We will see where it is today, and if goes well, I hope to play tomorrow (in the final exhibition game)," Tulowitzki said.
