Troy Tulowitzki's confidence was impossible to miss, hinting of his possible return to the Rockies next week for the Dodgers series. The shortstop took batting practice Friday, moving another step closer to a rehab assignment and rejoining the Rockies on Thursday in Los Angeles after suffering a broken rib. "I just have to let it go during b.p. I can't baby it," Tulowitzki said. "I would like to be ready to go out on a rehab, and get back and help my team." If Tulo completes a rehab assignment — Triple-A Colorado Springs is a possibility — he could play for the Rockies and start the All-Star Game, where he's the leading vote-getter at his position. Tulo has been fielding groundballs for three weeks with no issues. He will wear a protective pad on his right rib cage as a protection when he plays, similar to what a quarterback might use.
