As if recovering from a season-ending injury wasn't enough, former Alabama quarterback Tua Tagovailoa encountered another unexpected challenge as he prepared for the NFL draft: being caught in the devastating Nashville tornadoes.

Tagovailoa was in town in March to rehabilitate his injured hip and participate in workouts ahead of the draft. After being picked No. 5 overall by the Miami Dolphins in Thursday's first round, Tagovailoa told reporters that the tornado hit the apartment complex where he was staying and destroyed his car.
