Troy Deeney has revealed to talkSPORT he will not ask to leave Watford this summer, and is leaving his Hornets future in the hands of the club.

The 32-year-old has a year remaining on his contract at Vicarage Road and there have been doubts over whether he will stay following the Hornets’ relegation to the Championship.

While there have been no concrete rumours about possible moves, Deeney was linked with a surprise loan switch to Tottenham back in July and there will surely be a number of clubs eyeing the striker, who has 123 goals in 367 appearances across a decade as a Watford player.
