Former Washington Redskins offensive tackle Trent Williams held out at the start of the 2019 season, partially because he still fumed over the team’s misdiagnosis of a cancerous growth on the top of his head.

However, Williams said he might have returned to the team had he not failed a physical after reporting to the team after the October trade deadline. Williams was apparently awaiting a new helmet when the Redskins placed him on the reserve/non-injury list, shelving him for the remainder of the year.
