After a successful NBA career which included seven All-Star appearances, two scoring titles, and seven All-NBA selections, one might think that Tracy McGrady wouldn't have much left to prove. But the former Orlando Magic superstar has decided to pursue his dream of playing pro baseball. The Sugar Land Skeeters of the American League of Professional Baseball announced Monday that they'd invited McGrady, a right-handed pitcher, to Spring Training. "This has been a goal of mine and it's a great challenge," McGrady said of joining the Skeeters in a statement the team released. "I'm looking forward to competing and I'm excited about this great opportunity." The Skeeters are not affiliated with a Major League club. In addition to joining them for Spring Training, McGrady owns a stake in a minor-league franchise set to begin play in Biloxi in 2015.
