Tottenham's Emmanuel Adebayor is still a target for Turkish club Besiktas who believe they can land him if they can escape a ban for alleged match-fixing. Spurs are willing to listen to offers for the 29-year-old Togo international striker after he scored just five League goals in 25 appearances last season. Besiktas are ready to stump up the £6.6million asking price but know they have no chance of attracting him if they are not in the Europa League. They are facing a ban from next season’s competition for alleged match fixing but have appealed to the Court of Arbitration for Sport and are confident of getting the decision overturned. Be?ikta? president Fikret Orman said: “We are interested in Adebayor and a transfer can always be done. “Once [the UEFA case] is settled I am going to London to sort out the transfer.” Besiktas have been granted entry into the preliminary stages of the Europa League until a final decision is made on 30 August 2013. Adebayor has two years left on his Tottenham contract after moving to White Hart Lane on a permanent basis last year.
