Tottenham Hotspur's training ground has been evacuated after a suspected World War Two bomb was discovered. Police swooped on the club's practice ground in Enfield just after 3pm on Friday following reports of a suspected "ordnance". A cordon was erected and surrounding roads were closed while specialist officers assessed the device. A crew from London Fire Brigade was also dispatched to the scene. Police said that some residential homes on and around Bullsmoor Lane were also evacuated as a precaution. It is not yet known if any first-team players were present at the ground during the evacuation.
