Detroit Lions coaches and front office members will sit down with numerous players when the NFL Scouting Combine's activities begin on Thursday. Here are 15 players the Detroit Lions should keep an eye on during the combine: 1. Ezekial "Ziggy" Ansah, DE, BYU -- The MLive commenters have spoken. Ansah has become a very popular choice among Lions fans, and even though he is very raw, the comparisons to Jason Pierre-Paul are very strong. He could replace Kyle Vanden Bosch on the right side. 2. Quinton Patton, WR, Louisiana Tech -- He stood out in this year's Senior Bowl. He had 104 receptions for 1392 yards and 13 touchdowns last season, plus 79 receptions for 1,202 yards and 11 touchdowns in 2011. He is a strong receiver who might be available in the third-round. 3. Markus Wheaton, WR, Oregon State -- The speedy receiver has been compared to Pittsburgh's Mike Wallace. He is a deep threat guy who could ease the pressure on Calvin Johnson. 4. Dee Milliner, CB, Alabama -- While many NFL observers believe Milliner is not as good as last year's first-rounders, he is better than the other cornerbacks in this draft. He will be available in the first-round if Detroit is interested.
