Ezekiel Elliott has not reported to training camp and has put word out that he will not play in 2019 without a new contract, and one person who has deep ties to the Cowboys believes there is a possibility the star running back won’t return by Week 1.
In an appearance on CBS Sports HQ on Tuesday, Tony Romo said he considers it a “coin flip” whether or not Elliott will report to the Cowboys for the start of the regular season. He added, however, that he expects a contract to get done.
