Red Wings coach Mike Babcock has ruled out Pavel Datysuk and Johan Franzen for Saturday's game against the Maple Leafs, but won't rule out Todd Bertuzzi. Datsyuk has a lower-body injury, Franzen a groin injury and Bertuzzi a back injury. Bertuzzi, though, is feeling better. "It's better than it was," he said Friday. "I got some work on it and taken care of and hopefully it settles down. I can't risk my back like that. If I continue to make it worse, it'll just end up to a point where I can't play." Franzen is shooting for a return for Monday's game against Chicago, although nothing is definite. "It feels good but I'm not pushing it 100 percent out there," Franzen said. "Keeping it from getting any worse. It was one step forward." Datsyuk doesn't have a target date but wants to get "a few" games in before the playoffs begin. There are eight regular-season games left. "It would help me," Datsyuk said of playing some games before the playoffs. "I'm tired of watching (the games on) television. I want to be on television." Defenseman Jonathan Ericsson missed Friday's practice because of sickness.
Todd Bertuzzi could return Saturday; others definitely out
