When Delanie Walker said before the season his goal was to make 70 catches, it seemed a little far-fetched considering the veteran tight end never had as many as 30 in his seven seasons with the 49ers. With one game left in his first season with the Titans, Walker is unlikely to hit 70. But his total of 57 is already almost twice as much as his previous single-season high of 29. In addition to his career-best catch total, Walker has notched career highs in yards (542) and touchdowns (six). If Walker catches three passes against the Texans on Sunday, he’ll become just the second tight end in Titans/Oilers history to reach 60 receptions in a single season. Frank Wycheck accomplished the feat every season from 1997-2001.
