Charges from Titans tight end Brandon Barden’s DUI arrest in February have been dismissed after the arresting officer failed appear in a Georgia courtroom. The former Vanderbilt player was arrested for DUI after a single-car accident on Feb. 23 in Lincoln County, Georgia. He was cited for DUI and failure to maintain lane after refusing a field sobriety test, roadside Alco-Sensor testing and state chemical testing. Both citations were dismissed, however, because of a “lack of prosecution” in the case, a court official said on Thursday. “If the officer doesn’t show for court, everything is dismissed,’’ said Debbie Pruett of the Lincoln County probate office.
