The Tennessee Titans have agreed to terms on a one-year deal with cornerback Tye Smith.
No word yet on the terms of Smith's deal. The depth at cornerback took a hit when Smith was lost for the season. He suffered an injury during training camp and then was placed on injured reserve.
Smith had been the fifth cornerback on the active roster behind Malcolm Butler, Adoree' Jackson, Logan Ryan and LeShaun Sims entering training camp before the injury. He will look to continue that role when OTAs get underway for the Titans in April.
In 2017, Smith played in 15 games for the Titans. He recorded 12 tackles with a pass defensed and an interception during those contests in 2017.
