The Titans might have a new fullback for the season opener against the Steelers on Sunday as Quinn Johnson is doubtful with a quad injury. One option would be to activate Collin Mooney from the practice squad though that would require cutting someone from the 53-man roster. It doesn’t sound as if the Titans have any plans to cut Johnson as coach Mike Munchak said he’s hoping the veteran is healed for next week’s game at Houston. A second option at fullback would be to use one of the three tight ends — Delanie Walker Craig Stevens or Taylor Thompson — in that role. The Titans had two fullbacks — Michael Robinson and John Conner — visit for workouts Friday but there were no immediate plans to sign either player. Robinson has played for the Seahawks Conner for the Jets and Bengals.
