REAL MADRID are plotting a raid for RB Leipzig star Timo Werner - and he could replace Cristiano Ronaldo. That’s according to Spanish news outlet Don Balon who reckon the La Liga champions are keen to secure his signature. It’s suggested Florentino Perez and Zinedine Zidane view him as the ideal candidate to rejuxvante their attack. The RB Leipzig ace impressed for the Bundesliga side last term, bagging 21 goals in all competitions. The striker has carried on where he left off, netting four goals in as many games this season. Werner, who is under contract until 2020, has admitted he’d be open to a La Liga or Premier League switch.
