Credit Jeff Fisher’s regime for feeding the Rams’ starving fan base the lean meat and vegetables that it required after slogging five years through a non-competitive wasteland. Now that the Rams have regained relevance within a robust NFC West, it’s time for Tuesday’s mayhem better known as NFL free agency to deliver the goodies. Yes, we know what’s good for us. Now bring on the fun stuff. Running back Steven Jackson appears to have walked and receiver Danny Amendola might not be far behind. Approaching his fourth professional season, quarterback Sam Bradford is the unchallenged face of the franchise. If the Rams deem Jackson a diminished Point A-to-B runner, let them find Bradford new friends with whom to share a catch. If 2012 was about defense, let next week signal the onset of jazzing an offense that has been efficient at best, ponderous to downright dull at worst.
