Minnesota Timberwolves forward Kevin Love, one of 20 finalists for the U.S. Olympic team, could be a favorite to make the final 12-man roster because of injuries to Portland's LaMarcus Aldridge and Orlando's Dwight Howard, two key front-line players also under consideration by USA Basketball. Aldridge (hip) and Howard (back) underwent season-ending surgeries last week and are facing lengthy recoveries over the summer. "It will be very big for me if I'm able to make the team," Love said Wednesday, April 25, of his quest to represent the U.S. at the Summer Games in London. "My chances of being in London are pretty high. Hopefully, it will work out for me."
