Wolves forward Andrei Kirilenko has opted out of a guaranteed, $10.2 million contract with Minnesota for the upcoming season, choosing to become an unrestricted free agent. Kirilenko, 32, had until Saturday to choose his option. Free agency begins Sunday evening and the Wolves at that time are expected to try to re-sign restricted free agent Nikola Pekovic.
