The Detroit Tigers have signed left-handed hitting outfielder Leonys Martin to a Major League contract. The team announced the signing of the 29-year-old native of Cuba on Tuesday afternoon. The Tigers also announced or confirmed several minor-league signings: right-handed pitcher Enrique Burgos; catcher Derek Norris; first baseman Edwin Espinal; and outfielder Jim Adduci. Martin spent 2017 with the Seattle Mariners and Chicago Cubs. He's played all three outfield positions but has primarily worked as a center fielder during his career.
