The Boston Celtics just traded Kemba Walker to the Oklahoma City Thunder, and now it looks like Walker will be on the move again. Kristian Winfield of the New York Daily News reports another Walker trade is “imminent,” though it’s still unclear if the deal will happen before or after the start of the 2021-22 season.

“Imminent” seems to be doing a lot of work here, but another Walker trade wouldn’t be surprising at all. Most people figured the Thunder would turn around and flip Walker at some point. They got a first-round pick along with the veteran guard in the deal, which saw Al Horford and Moses Brown go to Boston. Second-round picks were also swapped in the trade.
