Thomas Tuchel’s comments on his pursuit of a transfer move for Erling Haaland are thought to have been met with anger by Borussia Dortmund.
The Chelsea boss admitted he had looked into a move for Haaland in the summer window, but ultimately found it “unrealistic”.
But the German also hinted that it is likely that the Premier League side will be well in the hunt to sign the Norwegian in upcoming transfer windows.
Haaland will see a £75million release clause in his contract at Dortmund be activated at the end of this season.
That release clause will pave the way for a major transfer battle between Europe’s biggest clubs for the signing of one of the best strikers in Europe.
