Stop us if you’ve heard this one before: the Los Angeles Lakers had a very disappointing 2021-22 NBA season.

Fans of the organization had better hope they’re busy this summer. Many changes are in order. With that said, apparently, the team’s Big 3 of LeBron James, Anthony Davis, and Russell Westbrook may not agree.

Reports suggest that the three recently shared a meeting wherein each recommitted to the team.

That’s all well and good, but if Davis and Westbrook can’t improve their three-point shooting, all the commitment in the world won’t help them complement James.

In any event, if the Lakers are moving forward with this trio, they’ll need floor-spacing around them. Having a high-end shooter at each of the remaining starting spots will go a long way toward maximizing their effectiveness.

Here’s a deal that has the Lakers landing one from the Utah Jazz.

Utah Jazz Receive: G/F Talen Horton-Tucker, G Kendrick Nunn, 2027 First-Round Pick (Top 5 Protected – LAL)

Los Angeles Lakers Receive: G Malik Beasley

The Los Angeles Lakers may be due for a busy summer, but the Utah Jazz have already had one. This squad already jettisoned Rudy Gobert to the Minnesota Timberwolves.
