Another team was recently crossed off the list of potential destinations for New Orleans Pelicans guard Jrue Holiday. The Dallas Mavericks are reportedly not in the mix for acquiring the veteran due to the fact that the Pelicans wanted to ship him to an Eastern Conference team instead of a Western Conference team like the Mavs, as per Dallas Morning News‘ Brad Townsend.

Indeed, Jrue Holiday is still capable of causing headaches to opposing teams despite already heading to his 12th season in the league. He proved that he still has a lot left in the tank after generating 19.1 points, 6.7 assists, and 4.8 rebounds per game in 61 appearances for the Pelicans last season.
