The Los Angeles Lakers really want to make roster upgrades after losing in the first round of the playoffs this year. With LeBron James getting up there in age and Anthony Davis’ health often a question mark, having more reinforcements would be helpful. The Lakers have been linked to seemingly every big name out there, though they don’t exactly have the trade assets to make a truly blockbuster deal.

One trade that seems to be gaining some traction, though, is the reported deal involving Kyle Kuzma and Sacramento Kings guard Buddy Hield. The Athletic’s Sam Amick says this rumor has some legs to it.
