Texas coach Tom Herman has been called into action yet again by the state to help spread the message of COVID-19 awareness as well as prevention to fans and followers. As Gov. Greg Abbott issues new protocols and restrictions amid a spike in key health metrics across Texas, Herman encouraged all Texans to team up in the effort to slow the spread with mask-wearing, social distancing and, if possible, staying at home.

"As Texans, we understand the power of teamwork, whether it's on or off the field," Herman said in his PSA. "And right now, we need a team effort to stop COVID-19. We all have a responsibility to protect our health and the health of our loved ones, so make sure you do your part to slow the spread of COVID-19: Wash your hands, practice social distancing, of course wear a mask and, if you can, stay home. Together we will beat COVID-19. Hook 'em."
