Mack Brown’s calling card during his time as head coach at Texas was “come early, be loud, stay late,” but more often than not that slogan rang hollow in Austin. Students often showed up late for kickoff and it is not surprising to see large gaps in crowd for non-conference games or unattractive outings on the schedule. Texas is working on plans to improve the fans in-game experience with athletic director Steve Patterson even getting a little help from Disney. But senior cornerback, and long-time starter, Quandre Diggs has a few suggestions of his own to spruce up the atmosphere for Longhorn home games. And he took to Twitter on Monday evening to share some of his ideas.
