Texas fullback Chet Moss and defensive back Leroy Scott have been dismissed from the team for violating unspecified team rules, coach Charlie Strong announced Sunday. Both players were headed for their senior seasons at UT, although neither had been a major contributor so far. Moss played in 27 games, mostly on special teams, during his first three seasons. He started one game at fullback in 2012. Scott, who was named UTs co-special teams player of the year in 2013, played in 37 games, mostly on kicks but also occasionally in the secondary.
