Texans receiver DeAndre Hopkins is always happy to let everyone know he played at Clemson and that the Tigers won the national championship last season. Clemson quarterback Deshaun Watson, who engineered the title-game victory over Alabama, is on his way to Houston and will visit with the Texans tomorrow. Hopkins was asked about Watson on Monday, the first day of the team's offseason program. "I'm a Clemson guy, so I'm a little biased," he said. "Wherever he goes, he'll do fine. I haven't talked to him, but I'm pretty sure he'd like to throw me the ball." When he met with the media, Hopkins was in a playful mood. When asked what he likes about quarterback Tom Savage, Hopkins said, "What I don't like is when I went to his house last week, he didn't have Blue Moon." Hopkins said he and Savage are "tight" and then lavished praise on his quarterback. "We've definitely been getting after it since we've been back in town," Hopkins said. "Man, that kid's a go-getter. He knows this offense better than anybody. He throws a good ball. He knows how to put the ball where it needs to be." Hopkins has been working to stay in shape since the season ended after the playoff loss at New England.
