JJ Watt still believes he has a lot of football left in him.

Watt’s belief dates back to last year, when he had to do some soul searching after injuries robbed the now 30-year old of his past two seasons.

After dominating the NFL for his first five seasons, he missed nearly all of the 2016 and 2017 seasons because of a gruesome broken leg and a herniated disk that required surgeries. At that point in his career, it was only logical to think about what was next.

Being out may have left more tread on the tires, but it also left Watt with a question about what he would be able to accomplish after he got back on the field. As he has done before, Watt again defied the odds in 2018, accumulating 16 sacks and leading the NFL with seven forced fumbles.
