The Titans like middle linebacker Colin McCarthy’s skills, energy and leadership. In just his second NFL season last year, he was voted a team captain. But he’s also been injury prone, so the Titans have looked at free-agent linebackers this week. Former Packers linebacker Brad Jones visited Baptist Sports Park on Friday and was scheduled to meet with the Titans again today. On Wednesday, the Titans signed another free-agent linebacker, former Colt Moise Fokou, to a two-year contract. He’s expected to compete with McCarthy, who missed nine games last season with an ankle injury and concussion-related issues. Jones, who played inside and outside linebacker for the Packers, had 10 starts last season and finished with 77 tackles and two sacks. In four seasons with Green Bay, he played in 51 games with 23 starts.
