In the coming months, the Titans have some big decisions to make. There’s free agency in March, the NFL Draft in April. They also have to decide the fate of some players currently on the roster. There are 18 players, including a number of starters, scheduled to become unrestricted free agents next month. A look at those players, with my priority ratings: TE Jared Cook • 2012 numbers: 13 games, 5 starts, 44 catches, 523 yards, 4 touchdowns. • Priority: High. • Outlook: The Titans are planning on Cook coming back. How it happens, however, will be the tricky part. He’s the most likely option for the franchise tag, which would cost the Titans roughly $5.9 million. A long-term contract would be ideal for both sides, but it seems unlikely at this point. PK Rob Bironas • 2012 numbers: 25-of-31 field goals, 35-of-35 extra points. • Priority: High.
