Teemu Selanne is a marvel of modern science. Not only is he still playing great hockey at the age of 43 but now he's returning to the Ducks lineup on Wednesday night against the Coyotes after missing just three games when he was expected to be out for a couple weeks or more. Selanne took a stick to the fact in Philadelphia last week and the results were rough. He lost several teeth and required more than 40 stitches to close him up. He had to return to California for some oral surgery to take care of the issue and for most players that would have required a couple of weeks to recover from. Well as he's proven time and time again, Selanne isn't most players. In the three games that Selanne missed the Ducks still played well, picking up five of six points dropping just a shootout in Boston. But we all know that having Selanne on the ice with you only makes things better. Selanne has three goals and four assists in 11 games this season. He is 22 goals shy of 700 in his career, a mark that's going to be tough to reach but not out of the question for Selanne this season.
