A Syracuse University basketball player has been nabbed for sexually abusing a woman “incapable” of giving consent, police said. Dominick Parker, 18, was arrested last Friday for the alleged sexual contact with the 18-year-old woman at a Stadium Place apartment on campus, Syracuse.com reported. The Stamford, New York, native recently made the squad as a walk-on after transferring from LaSalle Institute. The freshman was removed Wednesday from Syracuse University’s online basketball roster. “The University has since issued an interim suspension order against the accused student, effective immediately. Sexual and relationship violence is not tolerated at Syracuse University,” the school said in a statement. “We are now doing all that we can to support and provide assistance to those affected by the alleged incident. As this is an ongoing investigation, Syracuse University will not be providing further comment.”
