C.J. Fair totaled 22 points, seven rebounds and four steals as the visiting Orange wrapped up their regular season by topping the Seminoles. Syracuse (27-4, 14-4 ACC) badly needed this win after losing four of its previous five games and will be the No. 2 seed in the ACC tournament. Tyler Ennis chipped in 16 points while Jerami Grant - who missed much of the last three games with a back injury - returned to score 16 points with eight rebounds. The Orange dominated the boards 43-24, although Okaro White had 20 points and 11 rebounds to lead the Seminoles (18-12, 9-9). Ian Miller (16 points) and Aaron Thomas (14) were the other primary contributors for Florida State, which had won three straight games. Ennis scored seven points during a 10-0 run late in the first half that propelled the Orange to a 33-27 lead at intermission. Fair scored the first six Syracuse points of the second half, but Florida State rallied to get within 47-46 on White's jumper with 12 1/2 minutes left. The Orange responded by scoring 12 of the next 14 points, beginning with two 3-pointers by Cooney and ending with Grant's three-point play. Rakeem Christmas added 12 points, six rebounds and a pair of blocks for Syracuse while Baye Moussa Keita had seven rebounds and two blocks off the bench. GAME NOTEBOOK: G Trevor Cooney continued to struggle for Syracuse, shooting 3-of-13 from the field and 2-of-8 from 3-point range en route to eight points. ...
