SWANSEA want Louis van Gaal to save them from the drop, according to reports. The rock-bottom Welshmen sacked Paul Clement yesterday ahead of a crucial clash against fellow strugglers Crystal Palace. And according to The Mirror, Swans chiefs think former Manchester United chief Van Gaal is the man to save their season. A manager with Premier League experience is believed to be a must, with Slaven Bilic and Ronald Koeman also on the radar. But Welsh tactician Tony Pulis is not expected to land the role despite his reputation as a fire fighter. Van Gaal, 66, has not managed since being axed by United in 2016 but claimed the right job could bring him back into football at the weekend.
