With his second term as president of the National Basketball Players Association set to end soon, Chris Paul reportedly might not be seeking a third term.

Per NBA reporter Marc Stein, there is a "growing belief" within NBA circles that Paul won't seek re-election even though he is eligible to do so.

Paul has served as president of the NBPA since 2013. He is also a member of the executive committee, whose duties include directing union affairs and policy-making decisions.

During Paul's first term as president, he helped negotiate terms on a new collective bargaining agreement that was ratified by the NBPA in December 2016 and runs through the 2023-24 season.
