Michael Strahan’s recognizable smile will live forever in football history. Strahan said on Jimmy Kimmel Live that he has one request when they’re molding his face for a bust in the Pro Football Hall of Fame: He wants his signature gap-toothed smile to be on display. “You go in and they measure your head,” Strahan said. “I have to meet with the guy, because I think I want mine to be smiling.” Most Hall of Famers keep their mouths closed when they’re fitted for their busts, which Strahan says is because they think they look tougher when they’re not smiling. Strahan said that when he was young he used to scowl for the purpose of looking tough, but after a few years in the NFL he came to think that an open-mouthed grin is actually a more intimidating look.
