Stoke City boss Mark Hughes wants Burnley goal-machine Danny Ings to fire his side next season. Hughes made a personal check on the England Under-21 cap as he cracked in his 20th goal of the campaign at the weekend in the derby win over Blackburn. Ings will enter the final year of his deal at Turf Moor in the summer and that leaves the door open for Hughes to strike. The Potters need to bring in fresh and young blood as their attack is one of the oldest in the Premier League. Burnley - charging towards promotion - will want to tie down Ings to a new deal in the summer, but they are not the only club after his signature.
