Stoke City could let Peter Crouch link up with Harry Redknapp for a FIFTH time as he Potters look to sign former Manchester United striker Mame Biram Diouf. Stoke have scored just 15 times in 16 Premier League matches ahead of their home tie with Aston Villa on Saturday afternoon. And manager Mark Hughes is keen on adding greater firepower in the form of Senegal international Diouf. The striker, who averages one goal every two games in the Bundesliga with Hannover 96, has just six months left on his contract with the German club. As such, according to reports, Hughes is keen on a £2million deal for the 26-year-old - and will subsequently allow Crouch to depart in January.
