Stoke City manager Mark Hughes is preparing a summer move for highly-rated QPR youngster Michael Petrasso. Canadian Petrasso, 18, was signed for the Rs by Hughes in 2012 following his release from Toronto FC, back when the Welshman was in charge of the west London club. The dynamic winger has blossomed in the Loftus Road second string side, and following two impressive loan spells at League One clubs Oldham Athletic and Coventry City this season, Sportsmail understands Hughes is interested in re-signing Petrasso, whose QPR contract expires this summer. Petrasso has yet to feature for Rangers’ first-team, but drew significant praise from both the Latics and Sky Blues camp after a handful of appearances for the duo.
