Is Steve Cishek out of the closer’s job? With Miami leading 2-1 in the eighth inning tonight, manager Mike Redmond had Chad Qualls warming up to pitch the ninth inning. After the game, Redmond was asked: Who’s your closer? “We’re going to use everybody,” he replied. “We’re going to use Cishek. We’ll use Qualls. We haven’t had that many save opportunities. We need those guys to pitch. We need Cishek to go down there and log some innings. He’s still going to close games. “Qualls might close some games. (Mike) Dunn might close some games. We need these guys to pitch we need them to stay sharp. They’re all going to contribute.” Mike Dunn notched his first save of the season Sunday when he got the last out with the bases loaded after being brought in to replace Steve Cishek. Cishek has one blown save in six chances. His last save was May 10. But he has struggled lately agaisnt left-handers, who are batting .333 against him while right-handers are hitting .111. The Marlins scored three runs in the eighth inning, so there was no save. Qualls pitched the inning.
