Point guard Stephen Curry returned to the court for the Golden State Warriors on Monday, playing 12 productive minutes in a 83-80 preseason victory against the Utah Jazz. He had no major issues, the point guard told CSN Bay Area. "It feels all right," Curry said. "A little sore but that's to be expected. We'll see how it feels tomorrow and hopefully Thursday's game I'll be able to play a lot more." Curry's final stat line was two points, six assists and one turnover. The 24-year-old out of Davidson missed 40 games in last year's lockout-shortened season, after he encountered recurring ankle troubles following a summer 2011 procedure on a tendon. The problems eventually led to Curry calling it quits for the 2011-12 season, and on April 25, Curry's ankle was operated on to assure there was no structural damage.
