Thought to be a problem of the past, it looks like Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry's bothersome right ankle has reared its ugly head. According to ESPN's Brian Windhorst, Curry re-aggravated the injury and is now a game-time decision for the Warriors' clash against the Miami Heat on Wednesday. If Curry has to miss Wednesday night's game, that's obviously a critical blow to Golden State's hopes for a victory. Though Wednesday's game will be played at Oracle Arena, it's hard to fathom the Warriors defeating the defending NBA champions without their best player. Even more disconcerting is that the possible long-term consequences could be much worse. Assumed to be an afterthought before the season, the Warriors have ascended to unforeseen heights and are fifth in the Western Conference with a 23-13 record coming into Wednesday.
