As was expected, Mitchell Trubisky earned first-team reps over the Pittsburgh Steelers’ mandatory minicamp schedule. This came after he featured in the Steelers’ two-week OTAs, where he also took part in a multitude of passing drills.

Trubisky not only continued to get more of a deep dive into Steelers offensive coordinator Matt Canada’s playbook for the 2022 season, but he also formed early chemistry with multiple wideouts over the past few weeks. Among them, rookie wide receiver George Pickens took some time to catch passes from the former Chicago Bears quarterback.
