The Pittsburgh Steelers have developed a reputation over the years for crossing the line, and last weekend’s game against the Kansas City Chiefs did nothing to dispel it. Led by Mike Mitchell, who racked up over $58,000 in fines for his head-to-head hit on Charcandrick West and low, late hit on Alex Smith (watch), the Steelers racked up over $94,000 in fines for bad behavior. In addition to Mitchell’s two fines, linebacker Bud Dupree was docked $24,309 for unnecessary roughness, per Jeremy Fowler of ESPN, and Le’Veon Bell was hit with a $12,154 fine for using the goal post as a punching bag following a touchdown.
