The Stars pondered possibly playing Kari Lehtonen on Sunday but decided to let him rest and then take the four-day stretch before Thursday’s home game against Calgary. “He had a good practice [Saturday] a really good practice and he looked good” said goalie coach Mike Valley. “He had a workout [Sunday] and he seems to be doing well. He’ll practice with me [Monday] while the other guys have the day off and then he should be in good shape.” Valley said Lehtonen still is listed as day to day with no firm return but the target is probably Thursday. “He’s probably 94 or 95 percent so do you want to take that chance?” Valley said. “If you wait then you can get him back at 100 percent.” Lehtonen has missed five games with a lower body injury.
